Another friend of his named Srivastav (Milind Gunaji) helps him in expanding business operations. He thinks about how he enjoyed his childhood days with Srivastav when they were part of gangs fighting each other for dominance in their colony. They became cousins when Neil's mother married Srivastav's father. One day, a man named Rajkumar (Naseeruddin Shah) enters their life as a car mechanic and becomes a part of the gang. He is also a good singer and Neil hires him as a singer for his restaurant. In those days, Neil marries with his childhood friend Sapna (Dimple Kapadia). The three men have very good relations among themselves. They all enjoy their lives but an unexpected incident changes everything. One day, Ramesh steals the money from the safe box of one businessman and runs away from Mumbai with his wife Lata (Amrita Singh), leaving behind both Neil and Srivastav.
